Secretariat
The Secretariat of the European Spirits Organisation - CEPS is based in Brussels and plays a pivotal role in supporting the aims and objectives of the organisation and those of its national association members.
The Secretariat's role includes:
- Representing the interests of its members to the EU institutions;
- Providing information about the EU spirits industry;
- Supporting CEPS members across the EU on a variety of spirits-based issues;
- Promoting the European Spirits Organisation - CEPS' work to members' EU institutions' the media and other stakeholders;
- Events.
The European Spirits Organisation - CEPS' Secretariat operates under the leadership of Director General' Jamie Fortescue.
Jamie Fortescue joined the European Spirits Organisation - CEPS as Director General in September 2004. Jamie previously worked for six years as Corporate Affairs Director for Randstad' the Dutch based international employment agency and prior to that as an account director specialised in food and employment issues at the EU public affairs consultancy' EPPA.

Matilde Sobral joined the European Spirits Organisation - CEPS in August 2004. She is our internal market and taxation issues Director. Matilde worked previously for the EU public affairs office of Pernod Ricard.

Marie Audren joined the European Spirits Organisation - CEPS in October 2004. She is our trade and social aspects issues Director. Marie worked previously for MEDEF' the French Employers Association.

Lisa Rose joined the European Spirits Organisation - CEPS in May 2009 as our Communications Manager. Prior to this Lisa worked at the Scotch Whisky Association and for a MEP in the European Parliament.
